Looking for the new amongst the old

It’s Jan 1st and my intention to take photos every day this year, if possible. Off to a slow start because of illness, wife still in bed unwell but out for a quick walk as the afternoon sun goes down. Past the garden of remembrance and the reminder that the new is impossible those who went before. Include and transcend. The juggler juggles in the light shower and speaks of kingfishers nearby. No sign of those, plenty of pigeons, but the cathedral lit up with a bright rainbow. On past some snowdrops towards Tor Hill and a couple of landscape images featuring Glastonbury Tor in the distance, the other with St Cuthbert’s through the trees. Up over Tor Hill through the mud and the Hart’s Tongue fern.

There is beauty all around…
